Viet Nam and Mexico were looking to enhance trade and investment cooperation at the first meeting of the Joint Committee of Economic, Trade and Investment Cooperation.
The turnover from Viet Nam''s exports to Mexico this year is expected to
hit US$1.5 billion in 2015, a year-on-year rise of 45 per cent,
according to the Vietnamese Embassy''s trade office in Mexico.
Viet Nam''s export earnings from Mexico experienced a strong increase of
53 per cent in the past seven months to US$1.37 billion, according to
the Industry and Trade Information Centre under the Ministry of Industry
and Trade.
Two-way trade between Viet Nam and Mexico reached US$199 million in the
first quarter of this year, up 1.01 per cent compared to the same
period last year.
